The primary sources of alcohol and other drug statistics in Western Australia include:

• National Drug Strategy Household Survey - alcohol and other drug prevalence and community attitudes and support for various alcohol and other drug policies. 
• Australian School Students Alcohol and Drug Survey - alcohol and other drug prevalence in school students aged 12 - 17 years old.
• National Minimum Data Set - treatment data from across Australia.
• NVEEP Bulletins - the Night Venues and Entertainment Events Project (NVEEP) conducts annual research on patrons' experiences at night venues and observational assessment of licensed venues around the state. 

Drug and Alcohol Office statistical reports

• Pulsecheck - a twice-yearly newsletter which provides information on drug and alcohol-related trends and activities relevant to Western Australians.

• Alcohol related hospitalisations and deaths in WA - a series of reports which provides a snapshot of how alcohol is impacting upon the Western Australian community.
