The Drug and Alcohol Office provides outpatient withdrawal services via community drug services. Free and confidential, the community drug services provide individuals and their families with:
- assessment and referral
- counselling and group programs
- withdrawal services including home-based withdrawal management
- clinical psychology
- medical assessment and review
- opiate and alcohol pharmacotherapy
- diversion programs for people referred by police and the court system
- services for young people and people referred by other agencies
- case management
- community-based prevention activities
