Outpatient services

The Drug and Alcohol Office provides outpatient withdrawal services via community drug services. Free and confidential, the community drug services provide individuals and their families with:

  • assessment and referral
  • counselling and group programs
  • withdrawal services including home-based withdrawal management
  • clinical psychology
  • medical assessment and review
  • opiate and alcohol pharmacotherapy
  • diversion programs for people referred by police and the court system
  • services for young people and people referred by other agencies
  • case management
  • community-based prevention activities
