Taking the first step towards getting help for drug or alcohol use can be difficult. But help is available in a variety of ways and, if you'd prefer, it can be anonymous.
Helplines
Call or email our Alcohol and Drug Information Service for a confidential chat. The service's professional drug and alcohol counsellors will listen, explain your options and answer any questions you might have. They can also refer you to other services and support groups for ongoing support.
Confidentially chat online with a qualified Alcohol and Drug Information Service counsellor via Live Chat.
For people who speak little or no English, see help for alcohol and drug users or help for parents, partners, family and friends.
Community drug services
There are several community drug services across metropolitan and regional Western Australia that provide counselling, information and referral to other support services, and ongoing case management.
The metropolitan services also provide access to medical treatment for drug and alcohol problems.
