The Ruah Centre is an inner city service for men and women aged 20 years and older who are on a low income and have any needs or issues, including drug and alcohol issues.
Services on offer at the centre include:
- drop-in (9am-1pm) - a safe, relaxed environment where people can sit, talk, read or watch TV;
- tea and coffee - avalable from 9.30am - 1pm;
- showers - available from 9am - 12.45pm (there are three males, two female and one disabled shower) - towels, shampoo and soap are provided; and
- crisis assistance (9am - 2pm) - staff offer practical support, referral and advocacy.
At Ruah, people are helped to get support and service in all areas of their lives, including:

The Centre also provides free cooking lessons and art therapy.
