About this event
This training event is part of the Strong Spirit Strong Mind Program.
Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) is a sensitive and complex issue for Aboriginal workers and their communities. This workshop will provide information on FASD, prevention strategies and support services for Aboriginal women who are pregnant and using alcohol.
Skills for screening Aboriginal women of child bearing age and the use of culturally secure resources developed for responding to FASD will be a central focus.

Health workers who work with Aboriginal women, families and communities
